The inner CV boots arrived from M-Sport, so I refitted the front suspension and driveshaft, which wasn't as straight forward as I'd expected.

Using the vacuum pump, I bled the clutch in a matter of seconds, and I then turned my attention to dressing up the wheel arches with black stone chip.

Drove over to the Ford dealers to find the part number for a inner CV boot, and ended up having to order a complete kit.

I bled the rear brakes last night, once I'd found out why there wasn't any fluid getting through....

The one remaining part needed to fit the clutch hose to the slave cylinder has now been sourced.

The audio wasn't up to scratch on the incar DVD from my laps with Tiff last week, so Tiff has kindly offered me and the wife another trip round the circuit, gratis. Cant complain about that.

Spent my birthday at Thruxton, experiencing some fast laps alongside Tiff Needell in a BMW M3. And the rear pads are back from Altiss, and I've fitted them in the calipers, with a couple of extra mods to clear the brake disks.

Fitted the second drive shaft, but its a bit too long. So I may have to commission another shorter one from CPS.

Went to the CF show at Santa Pod yesterday, with the XR2, and despite the poor weather, the turn out was up on previous years, and everyone had a good time.

Fitted all the hoses over the weekend, and the throttle cable, and the engine started after a few seconds of coaxing.

The o-rings turned up in the post, and I've fitted the M-Sport clutch adaptor. And I've also refitted the lower engine steady bar, so it is bolted more securely to the mounts.

M-Sport are supplying a clutch slave adaptor, and I've started re-aligning the crank sensor.

Using the parts from Earls, the Pro-Lite 350 fuel lines inside the engine bay are assembled and connected. Power cycling the ECU primes the fuel system, and we have 3Bar pressure and no leaks.
