November 2005

Finally, my new car has arrived. Ford had loaned me a Machine Silver Mondeo ST for three weeks whilst I waited for mine to arrive, which was a great car. But its now gone back, and I'm getting used to the new 2005 Mondeo. I've only racked up 260 miles so far, so the engine's still a bit tight. I'll run her in for 1000 miles before I start to open her up. I really like the colour, Octane Blue, and the 17" wheels really set her off.

The new Midland Speed calendar for 2006 looks really exciting. May looks like being a busy month. I'll make both visits to Shelsley in '06, I'll try to get to Snetterton, and theres a round at Barkston Heath airfield, which may prove to be a lot of fun.

RIP Richard Burns. Such a shame that someone so young and talented should be taken in such a cruel manner.
