I'm extremely busy at work at the moment. We're putting in a new Automation System to support the desktops, laptops and servers we manage in the UK, and after a long and painfull process, I selected the Altiris Client Management Suite. Which has meant months writing documentation, technical assessments, risk assessments, IS1 risk calculations, conceptual designs, technical designs, etc etc, and its meant a lot of travel (1600 miles in seven working days), meeting after meeting, and many hours spent in front of Microsoft Word putting all the docs together. Still, we're almost there, and the rollout started last week, with great success so far. Our Neighbour From Hell problem has raised its ugly head again, and Mr Shane Howard, our NFH called me a C*NT in front of my wife and children the other weekend, so something has clearly rattled his cage. We've not spoken for 7 years, and then he snapped, and threw a torrent of abuse and accusations our way, saying that our CCTV wouldn't stop someone Balaclavad Up from paying us a visit. Nice. Unfortunately for him, I have a letter from the Information Commissioner that says I have every right to use CCTV to monitor my property. If he has nothing to hide, then he has nothing to fear. |
