Last on

There were 19 outings in all during the year. With 10 competitive events, several magazine shoots, and a couple of shows too. A very busy year in all. In just four days in August 2003, with trips to Chobham on Thursday, Bruntingthorpe Friday, Norfolk on Saturday, and Wigan on Sunday, I travelled 767 miles with the Fiesta in tow, consuming 32 gallons of petrol!
I won six awards during 2003. I finished 1st in the Sports Libre class in the Midland Speed Championship, I won the Tony Higgins award for the best prepared car in the championship. I had three 1st's in class, and I won the best prepared car for the Three Sisters event in April 2003. The trophies are [Left to right] an engraved Silver/Pewter tankard from MIRA, a glass coaster from Curborough and a brass spark plug mounted on marble base for Loton Park.

Read about some of the past events that I've competed in, and also any other outings we've made with the Fiesta. I've tried to document all the rounds from the 2003 championships, but work commitments got in the way, so the last few events are missing. You'll find reports below though, in Adobe Acrobat PDF format for all events, and of course the latest and archive news give records of how we got on.
