Duratec oil adapter plate
You may have seen my Duratec oil adapter plate fitted on the engine, and you may be wondering how you can get one for your installation.
Although I trawled the internet for something suitable, in the end I had to come up with my own design, and find a company that could CNC machine it for me.
Karl Hacken from Kustomengineering.com took my fag packet design, and turned it in to a Solid Works drawing. I contacted a company called BR&D Engineering, based in W.Sussex, and they CNC machined the adapter from the SolidWorks drawing, in a matter of weeks. The conundrum for me was whether I should have a batch made, but the costs were too high for me to bare, so I just bought the one.
If you need an adapter, the arrangement is that you contact BR&D and speak to Roger Ayling, and he will turn one out for you. I make no money from the arrangement.
