Installing the seat
I started out with a Cobra Imola2 seat, made from diolin, attached to the reinforced floor with aluminium 5mm brackets. However, it soon became apparent that the seat was too narrow for my frame, so I've replaced it with a Motordrive seat, made from a carbon/composite material, which is tailer made to suit me. It is still mounted on 5mm brackets, also supplied with the seat.
The front seat needs mounting to the floor,using 5mm steel plate (regulation). This picture shows the frame in place before welding. This is a picture of the Cobra Imola II seat on the regulation 5mm alloy brackets. The seat mounted in placed New Motordrive seat installed
